We are honored to have Jessie and her beautiful family members show us how to make a rattle: the connector to the land and spirituality. Jessie is a Dene-Cree Mother of four and a Frog Hollow Neighbourhood staff member who enjoys sharing her knowledge.
Here’s what you will need:
- Deer hide
- Pebbles, red willow seeds, or any seeds, sands, sugar and etc.
- Wooden sticks
- Scissors
- A hole-puncher
- Pencils
- Paper clips
- A roll of artificial sinew
